Fruit Juice
This municipal wastewater treatment plant receives 80% of it’s contamination loading from a local fruit juice process and packaging plant.
The Problem
The major problem was the excess growth of filamentous bacteria which led to foaming on the surface of the wastewater. The BOD and COD levels were highly variable, indicating upset conditions within the plant.

The regular application of EnBac® B560 has stabilized operation of the plant. It has reduced the impact of occasional spills and other upsets and improved the general standard of the final effluent.
